About the Author Stephan A. He is the author of "The Gnostic Jung and the Seven Sermons to the Dead" and "Jung and the Lost Gospels: Insights into the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi Library."Interesting to learn the characteristics of the different breeds of sheep.. This is just my opinion, but this book does not merit more than 2 stars. Meaning, the food item has prospered off the land without added chemicals (produce) or foods not typical for consumption (animals). His talent and his love are truly awsome and he gave all of his heart and soul to making others life better. This is not yet another book about Queer theory: it is THE book about queer theory, the one that would define the future of gender and queer studies. In this deeply researched monograph, Huffer, in her moving lyrical prose, teaches us the value of revisiting all the major markers of queer studies with an eye on Foucault's most important work: History of Madness.Huffer's main argument, and I am simplifying here, is that early queer theory relied heavily on Foucault's History of Sexuality Vol.1, but an altogether different Foucault can be retrieved and mobilized for queer studies if the scholars and students read Foucault's views on gender and sexuality in juxtapositioThe search to uncover the hidden origins of Christianity and discover its true message has become a current topic of fascination for many readers. Moreover, Kuhn investigates the problems (psychological, spiritual, and otherwise) that result from a purely historical interpretation of Jesus. Kuhn's research provides a clear understanding of the allegorical interpretations of the scriptures and their significance to a deeper, more profound Christianity. In fact, those who wrote the scriptures may have never even intended the focus to be on Jesus, the man. In doing so, Kuhn reclaims the mystical power at the core of Christianity's message, which has to do with the "birth" of the inner Christ and the emergence of divine consciousness in humanity.. The spiritual truth encoded in scripture, says Kuhn, is far more important than its literal narrative. People are eager to know the truths behind the biblical legends and the mysteries that created Christian rites, ceremonies, and codes of behavior. He traces the historical and philosophical origins of Christian thought to illustrate that Jesus was one of many incarnations of an enduring archetype that has surfaced in many religions. Kuhn argues that the sacred scriptures of Judaism and Christianity do not portray historical truths, but symbolic and mystical metaphors- Title : A Rebirth for Christianity
