I'm a preschool teacher and can use this book as an any time read, when we talk about winter/hibernation, or when we talk about outer space! So many possibilities! LOVE this book!. He asks me to read this to him almost every nightand I can remember reading this book with my dad 26 or so years ago. It was distracting and, in my opinion, unnecessary. I used my professor's copy while taking lessons, and then bought my own. Without that book, this workbook will lose much of its ability to be helpful. While the text explains the different types of accidents that can befall the railroad, it also provides insight into how the railroads have progressed technologically and the impacts those advances have had on railroad safety.Overall, the book is a light read for an adult, but it kept me captivated as a young person. Thank you!. and this is the 3rd edition! i don't know what happened to the concept of quality lately - went down the drain, it seems. She has an amazing talent for creating a world that draws the reader in.Neil is an amazing read and can be read as a stand alone but would be better enjoyed by reading the impossible promise series and then Talon.
