Shinn did it again. Nor has his aging mother changed in any significant way, except perhaps that she is more tedious in her dotage. I purchased four of these books and passed them out. Miller's cogent description of the sexual violence and harassment experienced in the setting where she works and the lack of acknowledgement among the girls to recognize structural factors related to this violence is a point too few scholars write about in similar work. But they have never been shown, or have tried to work out for themselves, the way the various parts of the Bible fit together. Impressively, Pete accepts, and asks us to accept, corporate deception as a fact of life, but joins with us in disliking it all the same. Also, author Alana Melos, who I am discovering after having read three of her works, incorporates a lot of explicit erotica into her work. I will be keeping this book for future use.. The basic principles in this book are pretty solid; it's the basic presentation here that leaves a bit to be desired.This is one of several books that I have with this great, sideways physical format & dimensions: Drawing: A Creative Process, and Basic Perspective Drawing: A Visual Guide being 2 others easily worth mentioning.
