Of the 1834 edition (the edition reprinted by Forgotten Books), she writes:"Davies became a more significant editor with the 1834 printing of Elements of Geometry andTrigonometry. Fast moving with rich characters and spot-on dialogue made it hard to set down. Overall a well written book. let me note that the title of the book (and her columns) should have been "Suddenly Living In The South," as she was NEVER a Southerner, in birth or spirit.
